WARATAH RAILWAY STATION

November 2019

QMF Construction was awarded the contract by Gartner Rose to carry out various concrete works on the upgrade of the Waratah Railway Station in Newcastle suburb of Waratah.

Scope of works on this project included but was not limited to:

3 new lift shafts

Pile caps
Various other small concrete works

Other aspects of the project included working at heights, access constraints and working in and around the rail corridor. Working to strict time constraints to meet rail shutdown deadlines
