PORTERS CREEK DAM

December 2016

QMF Construction was awarded the contract by Leed Construction and Engineering to upgrade the Porters Creek Dam located in the Morton National Park in the shire of Shoalhaven NSW.

Scope of works on this project included but was not limited to:

• Buttress Construction

• Stilling Basin

• Return channel

• Spillway training walls

• Drilling anchors

• Footpaths and stairs

Other aspects of the project included working within a national park so adhering to strict environmental controls, working at heights, working with conventional and engineered formwork and keeping fluency of works to meet timelines.
