DENMAN CULVERT CONSTRUCTION

QMF was awarded a concrete works package contract by Roads & Maritime for construction of culverts and pavement rehabilitation on Denman Rd at Denman, NSW. The project involves a 3km stretch of Denman Road that includes widening and rebuilding the road, installing roadside safety barriers and upgrading drainage. This work will make this section of Denman Road stronger, longer lasting and safer for all road users.
Scope of works on this project included but was not limited to:
Blinding preparation
Apron slab construction
Culvert Construction
Curtain wall construction
Head wall installation
Other aspects of the project included working in and around a busy road, traffic control and awareness, access constraints, unpredictable weather, working within environmental controls and keeping fluency of works.
