QMF Construction was approached mid last year by award winning architect, Mr James Stockwell. James had a client that was looking to build a residential home comprising of some extraordinary feature concrete walls, floors and roofs. As this is not our usual market we had many meetings with client, architect and builder to see if the vision could be achieved. This amazing property is just starting to shape out of the ground after many months, and is on track to look incredible once finished.
Scope of works on this project included but was not limited to:
Footings
Feature concrete floors, walls & roofs
Retaining walls
Swimming pool walls
Other aspects of the project included working on sloping ground, accommodating the feature rock within the ground, detailing of Oregon boards to achieve special finishes, working within strict environmental controls so as to not disturb the bushland surrounds.
