BROADMEADOW RAILWAY STATION

April 2017

QMF Construction was awarded the contract by Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure to carry out various concrete works on the upgrade of the Broadmeadow Railway Station in Newcastle suburb of Broadmeadow.

Scope of works on this project included but was not limited to:

• 3 new lift shafts

• Suspended walkways

• Pedestrian access footpaths

• Retaining Walls

Other aspects of the project included working at heights, access constraints and working in and around the rail corridor. Working to strict time constraints to meet rail shutdown deadlines.
