ALEXANDRIA SUB TRANSMISSION SUBSTATION

QMF was awarded the contract by Gongues Constructions to construct a Substation in the Sydney suburb of Alexandria on behalf of Ausgrid.

Scope of works on this project included but was not limited to:

• Switchroom Basement

• Switchroom ground floor including columns

• Control room basement

• Transformer Base Slabs

• Building Room

• Pavement areas

Other aspects of the project included working within a busy city environment, working with suspended formwork, working with pre cast panels, working within environmental controls and keeping fluency of works to meet timelines.
